Requesting reviews can feel awkward, but it’s an essential step in building your kitchen and bath remodeling business. Reviews not only boost your credibility but also attract new clients by showcasing your expertise and reliability. Using thoughtful, professional scripts makes the process easier and ensures clients feel appreciated.
1. Post-Project Review Request
Timing is everything. Ask for a review shortly after project completion when the client is most satisfied.
Script Example:
"Hi [Client’s Name],
It was a pleasure working with you on your [kitchen/bathroom] remodel. Your feedback is very important to us, and we’d love it if you could share your experience in a quick review. It helps other homeowners learn more about our work and ensures we continue providing top-notch service. You can leave your review here: [Insert Link]. Thank you so much!"
2. Email Request After Positive Feedback
If a client expresses satisfaction during or after the project, follow up with an email.
Script Example:
"Hi [Client’s Name],
Thank you for your kind words about your new [kitchen/bathroom]. We’re so glad you’re happy with the results! If you have a moment, could you share your experience in a review? It would mean a lot to us and help others see the quality of our work. Here’s the link: [Insert Link]. Thanks again for trusting us with your remodel!"
3. Social Media Review Request
Social platforms are a great place to request and collect reviews.
Script Example:
"Hi [Client’s Name],
We loved working on your [project type]! If you’re happy with the results, we’d greatly appreciate it if you could leave a review on [Google/Yelp/etc.]. Your feedback helps us grow and reach more clients like you. Here’s the link: [Insert Link]. Thanks so much!"
4. Verbal Request During Final Walkthrough
A face-to-face request during the final walkthrough can feel personal and genuine.
Script Example:
"We’re thrilled with how your remodel turned out, and we hope you are too! If you’re happy with our work, it would mean a lot if you could leave a review online. It helps other homeowners know what to expect when choosing us. I can send you a quick link if that’s helpful!"
5. Gentle Reminder Follow-Up
If a client hasn’t left a review after your initial request, a polite follow-up can nudge them.
Script Example:
"Hi [Client’s Name],
I hope you’re enjoying your new [kitchen/bathroom]! Just wanted to follow up on my earlier message. If you have a moment, we’d be so grateful if you could leave a review about your experience working with us. It really helps us grow and serve more clients like you. Here’s the link again: [Insert Link]. Thank you!"
